Accuracy First

Guides cite primary sources: the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Washington L&I and official open-data portals. Every guide lists its sources and the date it was last updated.

Independence

Paid featured placements never change license data or guide content, and are always labelled.

Review

Guides are drafted by our editorial team and checked against the cited statutes on the update date. We are adding a named, qualified reviewer; until then each guide carries a clearly marked placeholder.

Careful Language

We describe what state records show "as of" a date. We never call a business unlicensed; we say no active record was found.

Corrections

Report errors on our contact page. We aim to fix verified errors within 5 business days and update the page date.
